Archive for June, 2009
Hi again all.
We just want to continue focusing on using social media sites to grow your business and monetize the huge traffic they generate. However, it takes time, commitment and effort to generate traffic from them and it can be wise to do some research before you dive into it. Here are a few tips and advices for you to utilize, before setting up your accounts and driving traffic to your webpage.
1) Social media sites RANKING
We suggest that you focus on the BIG ones, but be sure to pick according to your target market as well. Here is a list of the top 25 social media sites as of January 2009

PS! The terrain of internet is constantly changing and as of June 2009 stats for the top 3 is the following:
| Rank | Site | Unique visitors | Monthly visits |
| 1 | facebook.com | 113.014.638 | 1.741.774.254 |
| 2 | myspace.com | 56.885.691 | 716.721.244 |
| 3 | twitter.com | 19.728.619 | 134.536.240 |
As you can see, Facebook and Twitter are increasing their traffic and visitors dramatically while MySpace has declining numbers.
2) WHICH Social Media sites to work with
The point in showing you the above figures is that you should decide carefully where to put your time and energy in order to maximize the results from your efforts, and a good way to start (without analyzing yourself to death) is to chose at least 2 of the top 3. If you haven’t done it already, then sign up and setup your profile today.

Twitter is all the rage at the moment, and one of the biggest questions facing businesses and entrepreneurs is how to make this microblogging service drive business to their websites. We have done our research and have just started to use Twitter, and almost immediately it started to generate traffic to our website.
How to use Twitter
The easiest way to do this is to offer short excerpts or summaries of longer blog posts or website pages, and post them using a URL shortening service (many Twitter update clients, such as Twhirl or TweedDeck, will do this for you). Once you’ve established with your followers (the people who subscribe to your Twitter updates) that you have an eye out for interesting articles and posts, you will have gained enough credibility to begin posting your own opinion pieces.
PS! Remember: Maximum lenght of any Twitter post (tweet) is 140 characters.
Start using Twitter today
1) Sign up for Twitter – click here
2) After signing up – create your profile
PS! Remember to upload a photo of yourself (or company logo), your website URL, some information about you/your company as it will help building trust and brand you/your company,
3) Start adding followers (start with friends, colleagues, celebreties and other internet marketers – add us: qanetworkers)
4) Start posting
Twitter tools
* Twittertroll – search engine for Twitter – click here
* TweetMyBlog – plugin for WordPress (by John Merrick & Soren Jordansen) that automatically post your blog post on your Twitter account – click here
* Twitterfeed - similar functions as TweetMyBlog – click here
Other businesses using Twitter
The best example of an established business using Twitter to drive traffic to their site is Old Navy, a company whose one dollar sandal sale spread like wildfire across the microblogging site several weekends ago. A few well placed tweets were tweeted and retweeted, and both the Old Navy website and stores across America were mobbed by people desperate to buy cheap sandals – a great example of how virally marketing your products by word of mouth can direct more customers to seek out your website and use your products, at very low expense.
We will be back with more Twitter tools and tips later, but for now this should get you started. DON’T WAIT and DON’T BE AFRAID. Dive into it and you’ll know all the tricks and shortcuts before you know it – and YOU WILL DRIVE TRAFFIC to your website
Yours respectfully

Dear fellow internet marketer and personal developer!
In this post we will cover the importance of the power of having a CLEAR AND EMPOWERING GOAL, both PERSONALLY and BUSINESS wise….
First, lets just cover one basic element in the human psyche. We as humans are driven buy two twin forces.:
- The need to avoid pain
- The need to gain pleasure
Just to make it CLEAR: We will do more to avoid pain, than we will ever do to gain pleasure. For instance: If you do not know if the roof above you will hold, you will not pay attention to ANYTHING else…..
So what do this have to do with setting goals? Everything. You see, the goals you set for yourself NEEDS to be in line with what you REALLY want, and what you DON’T want (very similar).
So based on this knowledge, we will list a few simple steps to get your business going.
PS! REMEMBER: 20% OFF ALL SUCCESS IS KNOWLEDGE, 80% IS PSYCHOLOGY…..IT’S ALL UP to US!!!
The reason for a goal setting process, is to wire your brain to automatically drive against your goal in line with what you as a WHOLE human being want.
So here it is:
- Be Clear & Specific. You have to know what you want out of your life. Not something general as just a mill $. You need to be specific. What, when and how???
- When you know what you want, then you need to go through WHY YOU WANT IT? This step is CRITICAL!! You and you brain will maneuver after pleasure, and how to avoid pain…
- a) So here you should make a list on a pice of paper: 10 reasons on how your life will look like if you DON’T reach your goals. Be present when you do that, and produce as much negative feelings as you can (avoid pain). b) Then do the same about how your life will LOOK like WHEN you reach your goals (10 reasons on how your life will be WHEN you reach your goals). Try to generate as much feelings as you can when you go through this step.
- See yourselves 1 months from now with your goals in hand. Then do the same three months from now, and finally six months from now. Use your imagination!!!!!!!
This is just a simple, but a very POWERFUL tool to reach your goals and dream. We did not come up with it, so if you like to study this more, please go to www.tonyrobbins.com.
Have a wonderful and productive day!!

We’re back with a very important post if you like to succeed online - testing and tracking your business. We’re talking about testing and tracking your marketing efforts. The reason is that if you don’t test and track your efforts, you won’t know what marketing techniques you are using that are making you money.
A RULE OF THUMB – 1 LEAD should cost you less than $5
Keep this in mind whenever you’re trying out new marketing campaigns and strategies, and tune them until you reach this limit.
However, there is also another form of testing and tracking you need to use in your business. I call this a general business analysis.
With the general business analysis, you take a complete assessment of your business to see what is making you money. This means analyzing everything.
PRODUCT LINE
The first place to start is with your product line. Which of your products are making you money? Which aren’t? Knowing which of your products are making you money will help you decide what products to create in the future.
Now, this doesn’t just cover subject matter. The subject of your products is very important. You need to pay particular attention to this. You also need to pay attention to the format you are creating.
Some of your customers may not want an ebook. Some won’t want books, or videos. The key here is to create each of your products in multiple formats, test them and then determine which ones are selling. Accomodate your customers and their needs for higher sales.
If you sell affiliate products, or you sell affiliate products in addition to your regular line of products, which ones are selling? Which ones aren’t?
It may sound like we’re repeating ourselves here, but we’re really not. If you sell only affiliate products, or you sell affiliate products in addition to your own products, you want see which ones sell best. For the ones that are selling, you want to concentrate on selling more of these types of products. Get rid of products that don’t sell for you. This will help you increase your profits and avoid wasting time on things that don’t sell.
MARKETING
Examine your marketing. Which techniques are you using? Which ones are making you money? In our business, we’re selling education – education and developent of YOU, education in internet marketing and affiliate products that supports these subjects. This combination works best for us and brings the most profits.
Don’t just eliminate techniques that don’t work though. You want to try as many different techniques as possible to find out what works best for you. Don’t limit yourself here.
You want to stick with what works in your business and get rid of what doesn’t. In order to do this though, you need to determine what is working first. Then, and only then can you find the formula that works for you.
We will from time to time post reviews on our marketing techniques and strategies, so please subscribe to our blog. Please also send us suggestions for blog topics and/or marketing techniques you like us to test.
Yours respectfully

Marketing online is changing rapidly. A short time ago no one cared anything about the social network websites, at least not as far as business promotion is concerned. The world has changed. When it comes to easily finding and communicating online with other internet users, social network websites are, perhaps, the best way to go. Any serious Internet marketer will make use of the social networking sites, or will miss big opportunities.
Joining a social website
If you are interested in joining a social network website, the first thing that you will need to do is find a network to join. You can easily find a number of networks by performing a standard internet search. For the best search results, you may want to search with the words social networking or social network websites. In your search, it is likely that that you come up with a fairly large number of different networking sites. Popular sites that may be included in your search results may include, but will not be limited to, MySpace, Stumble Upon, Digg, DirectMatches, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Orkut etc etc. You may have heard of all of these and there are hudreds of more out there. We use Twitter, MySpace, LinkedIn and many more. Remember that our primary purpose in belonging at all is to promote our businesses.

Here is also a list over the biggest social networks in the US as of April 2009

Top Social Websites - April 2009
Your profile
Once you have made the decision to join a particular social network website, whether or not it is one of the ones mentioned above, you will need to register with the site. Even free networking communities require that you go through the registration process. Once you are registered, you should be able to start communicating with other community members. Before you start communicating, you may need to develop your online profile or profile page, depending on the networking site in question. Although it may seem easy enough to create a profile, there are many internet users who are unsure exactly what they should and should not include.
Your picture – IMPORTANT!
Perhaps, one of the most important things to include in your profile at each social network is your picture. While a personal picture is optional, it is ideal. Many internet users enjoy taking to someone that they can see in their minds, without a picture this is difficult. Personally, from the standpoint of using social networking for business promotion, we think it is unprofessional to not include a decent picture of yourself. If you are looking to use social network websites just to meet new friends you may not necessarily need to post a private picture.
Personal information – Safety
In addition to your photograph, you may want to include your name. Now, when it comes to your name, you need to be cautious. You are advised against giving your full name, especially if your profile or profile page contains a personal photograph of you. In addition to your name, you may want to put down your location. As with your name it is important to display caution. Your picture, your address, and your full name can be dangerous, especially if it falls into the wrong hands. As much as you would like to fill your social networking profiles with personal information, you are advised to think about your safety before anything else.
You may also want to include information on yourself. This information may include your hobbies, issues that are important to do, your likes, and your dislikes. With many social network websites, including MySpace, you will find that there are preset profile fields for this information. In addition to preset questions or categories on your likes and dislikes, you may also find additional information, including fun questionnaires.
By keeping the above mentioned points in mind, you should not only be able to create an online social networking profile that is filled with valuable information, but you can do so while staying safe at the same time. Your safety on the internet is in your hands, that is why it is important to think about safety, as well as internet popularity.
Once you are established with a social network or two, you will need to spend a little time at each learning what is available. Once you have built a few relationships it may be time to start putting a little marketing in.
Kind regards
Tom & André
