How to create your own product
If you’re like 95% of marketers out there you would have started your online career as an affiliate. Pushing other people’s products via PPC, SEO, social bookmarking, traffic exchanges etc… Some of you may have become successful, hey many have but time comes when you get that urge to create your own product and have a banned of affiliates working for you. subscribers onto your list.
You may have purchased an ebook before and thought this thing is mediocre at best, but you were spell bound by the sales copy. There are a lot of sales pages out there that convert you into buying even tho the product is average at best.
So looking at this product creation thing backwards. Try writing your sales page first. Yes, even before you have thought about your ebook. Make it unbelievable. Make it crackle. Make astonishing statements and promises. Create authoritative testimonials. Write something YOU would like to read!
Launching a product is a great way to build up a subscriber list. If you can get one or two gurus on your side that can mail out to over 200,000 people not only will you attract a lot of traffic but you will also collect
But before we launch we need to create the product. Where do we be start? Create an outline? Brainstorming? Write done notes? All these methods can work but they also have a flaw. Can you convert visitors from browser to buyer using your sales page?
There are a lot of sales pages that just don’t convert even tho the product, ebook may be one of the best available. It all comes down to your sales copy and how well you market your product.
After you have created this terrific sales page , one that would sell ice to Eskimos you can use it as a blueprint to create your on ebook product. Read the testimonials that you wrote and think about what content you would need in your ebook to have real customers read them.
Try this method and see how it fairs out, remember some of the best ebooks never sold a copy because the sales page was complete fluff.
