This is just a post against all the hype around weight loss….
Five years ago I was watching a show on CNN. It was an interview with someone who talked about some things that really got my attention. He was talking about taking control of your own life and “if you can dream it you can achieve it”. It was right up my alley. I did a Google search on this guy and it turned out that he was quite a famous man in the US. It was Antony Robbins. After doing a lot of research I decided to attend a live seminar in London. Two months later I was attending his UPW (Unleash The Power Within). It was a four day seminar lasting 10-12 hours every day but it felt like 3-4. It was truly a life changing experience to me, and I know that you can achieve what ever you put your mind to. However, the reason I write this article is that on the last day the seminar was about health. I heard one of the most powerful statements I have ever heard about health or weight loss ever, and it was like this: “Nothing tastes as good as being healthy feels”. I remember this statement as it was yesterday and even if it’s a cliché it’s as true as it can be. Because think about this: Why do we eat? What do you feel when you eat something good? You feel good of course, but for how long? At least not as long as being healthy feels. The pleasure of food that isn’t good for you last only a fraction of time what the feeling of being healthy does. It can last a lifetime, a long and healthy lifetime.
So if we take it a step further, what will you be able to do if you on a regularly basis feel great about yourself? Will you be more creative, attractive, fun, lovable, sexy, outrageous? Will you have more energy, sleep better, be more present in everyday life? You bet you will, and you deserve this kind of abundant life and you can have it. You have the power to live this kind of life within you. That’s what this seminar was all about. I have ever since lived more or less after this motto “nothing tastes as good as being healthy feels” and I would like you to do the same. Weight loss is just a bi-product of being healthy and you deserve to be healthy, in fact it hasn’t any thing to do with weight loss, it’s all about being healthy and enjoy life.
To your continued good health and online success
